What did your ancestors wear on their heads? Plain or fancy, furry or feathery, practical or whimsical – – hats have been popular for generations and hat styles can help us date photos! And knowing the era of a photo might help to identify who was wearing that topper! Participants are encouraged to bring photos of hat-wearing people and to bring actual examples of hats for the group to enjoy.
