We’re very thankful to the Damariscotta voters for fully funding Damariscotta’s portion of Skidompha’s budget at their town meeting on 6/12.
We are thankful that the Newcastle Selectmen and Budget Committees have recommended fully funding Skidompha’s budget requests for the upcoming fiscal year. The Library requested additional funding this year after nearly a decade of flat funding requests.
We take public trust and your tax dollars seriously. We will use the funds granted by the towns to support literacy, promote education, and support small business growth to create a more prosperous Lincoln County.
We know that we can accomplish anything with the public on our side; we are grateful for your continued support and we hope to see you at Monday’s meeting.
