Skidompha Summer Reading Program Sign-Ups Begin June 23!
Skidompha Library will kick-off the ever popular Summer Reading Program on Friday, June 23!
The theme of this year’s Summer Reading Program is “Build a Better World!” Participants will explore ways to make the world a better place through themes such as art, building, and electronics. Participants are encouraged to read throughout the summer and take part in our weekly hands-on programs.
How does it work?
Participants keep track of time spent reading, and for every five hours read, they choose either a prize that they may keep for themselves, OR a donation that will be made to CHiP: the Community Housing Improvement Project. Budding philanthropists can label donated items with their name in honor of their reading accomplishments.
Tell me about programs!
