Skidompha’s Picture Book Section is organized by topic to help you and your little reader find a book to suit your interests!
But We’re More than Books!
But did you know that our lending collection includes more than books? With your Library card, you can borrow:
- a sunspotter
- a telescope
- a ukulele
- board games
- and dvds!
Our Kids Room
Skidompha Library’s Kid’s Room has a great collection of books, media, toys, and things to explore.
Our Kid’s Room hosts a virtual story time on Mondays at 10:00 a.m. on the Skidompha Youth Services Facebook Group.
While the library remains closed to in-person activity during Covid, when things return to normal our kid’s room has lots of space to roam and play, a train table, a doll house, building blocks, a wooden boat, and coloring supplies. We also have space to spread out and tackle homework, as well as cozy places to read. Off the side of the kids area is a gender neutral bathroom with a changing table and emergency diapering supplies.
