Film Series and schedules at Skidompha Library

Skidompha Public Library's regular film series and special film events have become some of the most popular community happenings in the Mid Coast region. They provide many people an opportunity to get together with friends (or make new ones) in our comfortable, air conditioned Porter Meeting Hall. Our films for younger viewers are often films that "came and went" through the theaters before the kids could see them!

Back By Popular Demand Film Series

Here's the lineup of movies planned for the "Back By Popular Demand" series. Why not make an evening of it and plan to take in a meal at one of Damariscotta's fine dining establishments before or after the show!

Our newest film series,"Back By Popular Demand,” is held two Mondays each month from May through October, showing films that have been requested by, well, by popular demand from our film-loving patrons who just can't get enough Hollywood! Screenings begin at 6:30 pm. We're sure there'll be a regular crowd coming out for these wonderful film classics, so get there early to get a seat. A suggested donation of $5 helps us buy more films.
