Celebrate National Library Week by reading an important book that has been nominated for this year’s Chickadee Award. Molly’s Tuxedo, by Vicki Johnson, is about feeling good about yourself. School picture day is coming up, and while Molly’s mom has a nice dress picked out, Molly knows she would much rather wear her brother’s old tuxedo. It has pockets, isn’t too tight, and doesn’t have any hard-to-reach zippers.
Molly’s Tuxedo is a Charlotte Huck Award recommended book, a Maine 2024-2025 Chickadee Award nominee, has a 5-star rating on Amazon, and was written for children ages 4-8. Participants will receive a free copy of the book, and the meeting will consist of a book discussion and fun related activities.
