Join us as we welcome Deborah Moran, psychotherapist and death doula, as she leads a conversation about death and dying. We often stumble over how to approach these experiences which — though universal — are generally avoided as topics of discussion and consideration. Deborah is part of a growing group of therapists, psychiatrists, doulas, and engaged citizens seeking to shift the cultural conversation around death. In this presentation, she will help listeners and participants start to think more holistically about the process of dying, with the aim of establishing a recurring Death Café. Attendees are encouraged to come with questions; Deborah and another trained death doula are looking forward to hearing your concerns, interests, and questions. Please note that topics under discussion can feel sensitive, and we ask that you remember to treat your fellow attendees and presenters with kindness and respect.
