Novel Jazz: Jazz on a Summer Day

Novel Jazz is returning to the Library to celebrate the longest days of summer! They’ll be playing jazz out of the Great American Songbook, with special emphasis on Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. This concert will be a throw-back homage to the film Jazz on a Summer’s Day from the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival. Whether you’re a longtime fan or have never heard Novel Jazz perform before, we encourage you to come join us for fantastic music and a great time.

These concerts are free and open to the public, but we always welcome donations. Particularly, this will be an evening to remember the homeless and food insecure among us, and we encourage donations of food and personal hygiene items for the Library’s Little Free Pantry. Pantry items must unopened and not expired.
