First Friday Art Club
First Fridays of the Month | 3:00pm – 4:30pm
Ages 8-12 | Porter Hall
Artsy? Try FFartC! First Fridays Art Club is a free program designed to elevate a person’s understanding of the Seven Elements of Art. Each session will feature an art project highlighting one of the elements, such as line, value, or color. Participants will create art to exhibit in June while amassing reusable materials for a home studio.
This program is a club, not a class. It is created for people with a serious interest in pursuing art. Materials and techniques will be discovered through minimal guidance and maximum self-direction. Space is very limited. Please sign up only if you can commit to the entire program.
Dates: October 2, November 6, December 4, January 2 (Saturday 12:30pm-2pm), February 5, March 5, April 2, May 7, June 4 (3:00pm – 5:00pm, Art Opening, public welcome).
