Teens are facing many challenges as they navigate friendships and relationships, academics, and increased time with technology. There are fewer opportunities for taking time to slow down. We want to offer teens a chance to practice managing stress by learning skills to deal with change when it happens, work with emotional reactivity, and increase kindness for themselves and others. This group will be led by Jeannette, a certified mindfulness meditation teacher and mentor. It will offer a chance for self-reflection and group learning through journaling, meditation, creative activities, and small group discussions.
