Kids Programming
There’s always something fun to occupy children (and their grown-ups) at Skidompha. Check out our Calendar of Events to see what’s coming up, or come for one of our recurring programs below!
Story Time. Tuesdays, 10:00am – 10:30am
Skidompha Public Library | Children’s Room
Join us for this weekly gathering! Best for children ages 6 and younger and their grownups, we will read, sing, learn, and move our bodies
Homeschool Hangout, Wednesdays, 10:00am-11:00am
Skidompha Public Library | Children’s Room | Parents and Children, all ages | Starts 9/18
Are you looking for ways to connect with other homeschool families? Join us weekly for a special designated weekly meetup. While this is a passive, unstructured program, we will provide fun and educational activities for kids of all ages.
Toddler Time. Thursdays, 9:30am – 11:00am
Skidompha Public Library | Children’s Room | Infants, Toddlers, and their Grownups
With the goals of playing and connecting, we invite you to stop by during this time with your little ones. There will be plenty of developmentally appropriate toys and activities for infants and toddlers to enjoy, and a relaxed environment for adults to chat and connect.
D & D Club, Fridays, 3:15pm – 4:45pm
Skidompha Public Library | Ages 9-12 | Starts 9/20
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, we invite kids ages 9-12 to stop in for this weekly Dungeons and Dragons offering. A small group of adults will be standing by to DM. We will have one-time campaigns and pre-made characters available for kids who want to drop in periodically, but those who want to attend every week will have opportunities for ongoing campaigns.
