Theater Program

For Kids & Teens (ages 10-14); beginner and intermediate
Fridays, October 20 – January 19 | 3:30pm – 5:00pm
(No class November 24, December 22, and December 29)

During this 12-week course, students will discover new work and learn the fundamentals of performance while developing their own storytelling and performance voice. We will begin by reading and performing scenes from various plays, and then move into creating our own. Students will use a piece of literature from Skidompha’s library collection to devise a personal performance piece. The class culminates with a showcase for the invited family and friends.
