Hello Friends,
Just a short note today.
I was standing in the Atrium earlier this month feeling pride and joy that so many people were enjoying Skidompha at the same time in so many different ways. There were teens using our space as an after school refuge to relax and socialize, do homework. There was a mother and son working at our Under-The-Stairs Art Nook. Young ones and their bigs were playing and browsing the collection in the children’s room. All of our public rooms were filled with people meeting or working, while others were scattered around our space chatting with friends or family, and some of our librarians were busy prepping our atrium for an evening program.
Skidompha is here for you, our patrons. There is so much here for you–new experiences to enjoy, new hobbies to find, new things to learn, new opportunities to create, new people to meet. We look forward to seeing you here.
