Plan Ahead for Our Holiday Closure

Dear Friends,

If you’re anything like me, the very fact that we’re nearing mid-December is staggering. As we enter this season, I marvel that time itself feels quieter and more suited for slowing down, yet these few short weeks in December feel like a flurry.

In the interest of practicing the same advice we offer—to take care of ourselves and find ways to rest and recharge—we will be closed from the end of the day on December 23 and reopen at 9:00 a.m. on January 4, 2022. We want to give you plenty of time to plan, and we hope you will come in soon and get all the materials you may need to carry you over through this break! If you’d like some help finding things, remember to contact our librarians and ask them to put together a “Librarian’s Choice” bag based on genre, topic, or author. You can even ask them to put together a grab bag full of titles they love!

If your next few weeks have you moving quickly too, we hope you’ll remember the library is a great place to pause and to wander. Come see our latest displays and maybe find a book or a movie to borrow.

We’ll send out another reminder as we get closer. Until then, we hope to see you in the coming weeks, making sure to get all the library supplies you need.

Be well,

Matthew Graff
